SECRETARIAT’S MEADOW BOOK…ONLY 200 COPIES LEFT OF LAST EDITION
Secretariat’s Meadow – The Land, The Family and The Legend,” written by Kate Chenery Tweedy, daughter of Penny Chenery (Tweedy) and Leeanne Meadows Ladin, and published by Dementi Books, made its debut in 2010. We’ve had a great run these many years, but this sixth edition is our last. We plan to sell our last 200 copies during this year of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown.
It also includes an insert “Secretariat – The Tremendous Machine Rolls On,” which details how his descendants are carrying on his racing legacy. We will continue to devote our energies to preserving that legacy as well, especially through the effort to place the magnificent bronze “Secretariat Racing Into History” in Ashland, the early hometown of the Chenery family. We hope you enjoy “Secretariat’s Meadow” as much as we enjoyed writing it and meeting the fans of this legendary champion.
